The purpose of the society is to contribute toward the physical upkeep/attractiveness of the Church, provide for the material needs of the Sanctuary, and assist with funeral dinners. The Society also raises money for and donates to many different causes during the year. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday every other month, September thru May, at 7:00 PM in the St. Anne Room. The Society, which is open to all women in the parish 18 years and older, promotes works of charity and is a great way to meet other ladies in the parish.

Committees Available

FUNERAL COMMITTEE

The Funeral Committee assists the Funeral Chairperson with preparing, serving, and cleanup of the dinner provided for family and friends of the deceased parishioner.  No experience necessary, just a joyful, willing heart to serve others. 

ALTAR FLOWERS/ FLOWER COMMITTEE

The Flower Committee strives to enhance the beauty of our beloved church by providing flowers, greenery and other seasonal decorations for weekend masses and liturgical celebrations. This is a subcommittee to Altar Society. The ladies alternate decorating and maintenance duties. At Christmas, Easter, or other special occasions, the groups work together as needed.

BINGO COMMITTEE

Supply desserts, kitchen workers and verify bingo cards wins. Each circle will be assigned 1 session per Bingo season.

MISSION COMMITTEE

The Mission Committee is a part of the Altar Society, whose goal is to support works of charity, especially those functioning in our Diocese. The main activities of the Mission Committee include making quilts, comforts, baby blankets, crafting hand-made items, etc. for the Mission Bingo. The members meet most Tuesdays from 9AM to Noon during the fall and spring to quilt or tie comforts.
